Alumni Awards
We are delighted to invite members of the Curtin alumni community living and working in Malaysia to submit nominations for the Curtin University Malaysia Alumni Awards 2026. These prestigious awards celebrate alumni whose achievements, leadership, and service reflect the values and spirit of Curtin University.
Award categories
Community Achievement Award
Recognising alumni who has made significant and sustainable contribution towards critical issues in society, against any of the following criteria:
• Whose community involvement is driven in response to key societal issues
• Whose research, work and/or expertise demonstrated benefit to the community
• Is working or involved with corporate social responsibility projects which are beneficial to the community at large
Innovation & Entrepreneurship Award
Recognising alumni who are active in initiating and contributing to innovative or creative new ideas, solutions or business opportunities, that have the potential for growth.
• Entrepreneurship, business, and finance
• Technology
• Environmental (ESG), sustainability, climate
• Cultural, artistic ingenuity
Professional Achievement Award
Recognising alumni who have demonstrated outstanding accomplishments and exceptional standard of excellence in their field of endeavour. Contributions can include one or more of the following ways:
• Exceptional accomplishment in chosen field
• Exceptional service in local, state or national affairs
We are giving away 3 awards, each by faculty.
Young Achievement Award
Recognising young alumni below the age of 35 as of 31 December of the year being nominated, who has enhanced the reputation of the University through their outstanding professional achievements, personal accomplishments, and/or their loyal service to their alma mater.
Contributions can include one or more of the following ways:
• Exceptional accomplishment in chosen field
• Exceptional service in local, state or national affairs
• Exceptional service in support of the advancement and continued excellence of the University
