Accounting is the language business because it communicates financial information about organisations. Every business in every industry relies on accountants, and qualified accountants are in demand worldwide to support organisations in dynamic business environments. Through this major, you will become a qualified accountant capable of working internationally.

You will gain a sound foundation in accounting concepts, preparing and analysing financial statements, applying accounting standards and regulations, auditing, taxation and relevant areas of business law and financial management.

Your qualification will be recognised internationally, including by the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ), CPA Australia, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), and the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA). You may also be eligible to join professional accounting bodies.
