- Good command of English

For applicants pursuing Master of Public Health and Doctor of Philosophy (Engineering and Sciences) only.
Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) offers student loan applications in the form of variable loans for excellent graduates with a Bachelor’s Degree to purse postgraduate studies at a selected Higher Education Institutions (IPT) according to a specific field that has a major impact on the country’s employment needs.
Eligibility requirements
- Applicant and 1 or both parents are Malaysian Bumiputera citizen
- Applicant’s age limit on 31 December 2024 should be at least 23 and does not exceed 45 years old
- Possess academic qualification set by MARA
- Does not receive sponsorship or financial aid from other sponsor or agency for the same level of study
- The guarantor is a Malaysian citizen who has not been declared bankrupt
- The applicant/parent/guardian/guarantor/spouse are not included in the MARA blacklist or in MARA law actions
- Applicant must obtain confirmation from a certified doctor that the applicant is healthy and can continue their studies. A medical examination report must be done if the applicant receive the GrEP
- The applicant has never had aid terminated by any sponsoring body due to disciplinary action, in violation of national law and has never been dismissed by any IPT due to academic or disciplinary problems
- Applicants who have academic qualifications for the same level of study as this application will not be considered.
Applications can be made online through MARA portal and it is subjected to MARA’s scheduling of the sponsorship application window. Applicants must register as a new user first before filling out the application.

The Sarawak Unity Education Fund (SUEF) offers full and partial bond-free scholarships that will cover tuition fees and other study expenses to eligible students from Sarawak.
Eligibility criteria:
- A Sarawak student (MyKad bearing the letter “K”) aged between 16 and 25 years old
- Obtained a minimum CGPA 3.50 in STPM
- Active in extra-curricular activities
- Accepted to pursue or currently pursuing Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree at Curtin University Malaysia
- Combined monthly income of parents or guardians not exceeding RM4000
- Not a recipient of any scholarship or bursary from other organisations or institutions
- No criminal or discplinary records.
Note:
- Only students who have been rejected from obtaining education loans from Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN) will be considered for the scholarship
- The Board of Trustees of SUEF reserves the right to stipulate or amend the eligibility criteria at any time. Only selected courses will be considered based on the discretion of SUEF.

LEGASI ScholarshipÂ
LEGASI is a merit-based full scholarship programme designed for outstanding Malaysian students who have either obtained admission or are currently in their first year of a bachelor’s degree programme at any local or international university. The programme is open to students pursuing fields related to the Communications and Multimedia (C&M) industry. Upon completing their studies, scholars will be employed by MCMC, providing them with a direct pathway to contribute to the growth and innovation of the industry.
Eligibility criteria:
Obtained admission to pursue studies (conditional offer can be considered) or currently in the first year of a bachelor’s degree programme at any local and global universities in these fields.
