eVISA information

Entry requirements to Malaysia

Please note that most nationalities do not require visas for short social or business visits to Malaysia. Upon entry to Malaysia, passports are usually stamped for ninety (90) days of social Visit Pass, depending on the nationality. Visitors must have a valid passport or travel document with a minimum validity of six (6) months beyond the period of stay.

Participants from countries that require a visa can apply through the nearest Malaysian High Commission/Embassy/Consulate General or any available Malaysia Visa Centre in the region in which they live, or online via the eVisa website.

It is highly recommended that participants make arrangements for their Malaysian visas at least three (3) months before their visit to ensure a smooth travel experience. This will help to avoid any uncertainty and delays that may occur in the visa application process.

More information on eVisa can be found at the official portal of the Immigration Department in Malaysia.
