Presenter guidelines

Welcome to the Presenter’s Hub for GlobeCoReS 2025.
This page provides all the essential information, deadlines, templates, and step-by-step instructions for presenters to prepare for oral, poster, and virtual sessions. Please read carefully to ensure a smooth and professional presentation.

Physical conference presenters

Oral presentation

  • Length: 12 minutes speaking plus 3 minutes Q&A. Session chairs will keep time strictly
  • Slides: Use the official PowerPoint template (16:9 format). Save as PDF as backup
  • Content guidelines:
    Use large, clear fonts (minimum 24pt)
    Limit each slide to one main idea
    Use visuals (charts, diagrams, photos) rather than text-heavy slides
    Acknowledge funding or collaborations on final slide

  • On-site requirements:
    Arrive at least 15 minutes before your session
    Bring your slides on a USB drive in addition to having uploaded

  • Upload: By 25 November 2025. Upon registration, the parallel session committee will contact you to provide link to upload your materials.

Poster presentation

  • Size: PPT (16:9 format) – poster will be projected on the monitor during conference
  • Template: Use official poster template (download below)
  • Design guidelines:
    Title at top, authors and affiliations clearly stated.
    Use sections: Introduction, Objectives, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion.
    Minimize text — use bullet points, visuals, and infographics.
    Ensure text can be read from at least 1.5 meters away (minimum font size 24pt)

  • Interaction: The posters will be projected during your given slots, as means to promote sustainability. Be present, in person during the assigned session of your poster viewing to answer questions
  • Upon registration, the parallel session committee will contact you to provide a link to upload your materials

Attendee/Non-presenter

You are welcome to attend the session as a non-presenter, where you still will be able to engage with the presenter and fellow attendees.

Virtual conference presenters

Virtual oral presentation

  • Live (via Zoom/MS Teams):
    Same format as oral (12 min plus 3 min Q&A)
    Presenters will be given a session link and must join at least 15 minutes before their session
    Use a good microphone, quiet room, and stable internet connection

    As a precaution to poor internet connection, presenters are required to have a pre-recorded presentation, which will be played, if needed. Presenter needs to remain during their presentation slot, to answer any Q&A.

  • Pre-recorded Video:
    Length: Maximum 10 minutes presentation
    Presentation: required for presentation session
    Format: MP4, H.264 codec, maximum file size 300 MB
    Resolution: 1080p (1920×1080) preferred
    Content guidelines:
    Start with title, authors, affiliations
    Narrated slides + speaker video (optional)
    Add captions/subtitles if possible

  • Upload: By 25 November 2025. Videos will be played in the session, followed by a Q&A (presenter is required to be present). Upon registration , the parallel session committee will contact you to provide link to upload your video and your slides

Virtual poster presenter

  • Size: PPT (16:9 format) – poster will be projected on the monitor during conference
  • Template: Use official poster template (download below)
  • Design guidelines:
