Globesync: Community Research and Sustainability Conference

On behalf of Curtin University Malaysia’s Faculty of Humanities and Health Sciences, I am delighted to welcome you to the Globesync: Community Research and Sustainability Conference 2025, taking place 4th – 5th December at Curtin University Malaysia in Miri, Sarawak. Under the theme “From Evidence to Legacy: Transforming Research into Sustainable Action,” we meet at a critical juncture as the world seeks innovative and evidence-based strategies to address pressing challenges—from climate change and resource scarcity to health disparities and social inequities.

This conference underscores the importance of turning research into concrete actions that uplift communities and safeguard future generations. By bringing together leaders and practitioners from public health, environmental science, engineering, social sciences, and policy, we create a vibrant forum where diverse perspectives can converge to form ground-breaking solutions.
