“From Evidence to Legacy: Transforming Research into Sustainable Action”

4 – 5 December 2025

Curtin University Malaysia

Join us at the GLOBESYNC Community Research and Sustainability Conference (GlobeCoReS 2025), taking place from December 3–5, 2025, at Curtin University Malaysia and Eastwood Valley Golf & Country Club, Sarawak, Malaysia. This impactful event gathers scholars, practitioners, and change-makers from around the world to explore how research can drive sustainable, community-centred action. Please note that December 3 is dedicated to optional pre-conference workshops, while the main conference runs from December 4–5, 2025. We welcome your participation across the full program or as your schedule permits.

Under the theme “From Evidence to Legacy: Transforming Research into Sustainable Action,” GlobeCoReS 2025 emphasizes the importance of turning research into practical, scalable solutions that benefit communities and preserve our shared future. The conference provides an interdisciplinary space for collaboration among experts in public health, environmental science, engineering, social sciences, and policy-making.

Through keynote speeches, engaging panels, and hands-on workshops, participants will explore new perspectives and forge cross-sector alliances to accelerate progress toward global sustainability goals.

GlobeCoReS 2025 offers a range of exciting publication and professional development opportunities designed to support researchers and practitioners in advancing their work and building global connections. Accepted papers may be published in the Scopus-indexed BMC Proceedings (Q1), subject to an additional publication fee. In addition, selected high-quality papers will be considered for publication in WOS/Scopus-indexed journals, offering further visibility and academic impact.

As part of the pre-conference activities, a hands-on workshop on Bibliometric Analysis will be conducted on December 3. This workshop is designed to guide participants step-by-step from foundational concepts to practical application of bibliometric techniques, with the goal of enhancing publication strategies. Participation is limited to 60 attendees, based on a first-come, first-served basis. Beyond publication support, the conference provides a unique platform to engage in cross-country collaborative global survey research initiatives, enabling participants to build international research networks and contribute to broader sustainability dialogues. GlobeCoReS 2025 will also feature inspiring keynote lectures, expert panel discussions, and dynamic networking sessions, creating a vibrant environment for knowledge exchange. Additionally, the conference is HRDF claimable (Malaysian participants), offering further value for eligible participants.

Whether you’re attending in person in beautiful Sarawak or joining us virtually, GlobeCoReS 2025 offers an inclusive and intellectually vibrant environment to share ideas, build networks, and advance sustainable development.

Be part of the movement to transform research into lasting impact. Join us at GlobeCoReS 2025 and help shape a more sustainable, equitable world.
