Find out how much credit you could receive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Advanced standing is also known as recognition of prior learning, credit for recognised learning and credit transfer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You could receive credit if you have already studied units (subjects) listed in your desired program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If this applies to you, your previous learning may be recognised and matched against a similar unit in your intended program. Your CRL application is assessed with your program application and is noted in your letter of offer. You can apply for credit for specific units within your course, or elective units if the course structure permits.<\/p>\n\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>                    <div class=\"accordion\">\n            <button class=\"accordion__heading accordion__toggle\" aria-controls=\"documentation-you-need\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Documentation you need<span class=\"ico ico-chevron-fat ico--deep-blue\"><svg xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\" viewBox=\"0 0 32 32\"><path d=\"M10.91 30.41l-2.82-2.82L19.67 16 8.09 4.41l2.82-2.82L25.33 16 10.91 30.41z\"\/><\/svg><\/span><\/button>\n        <div class=\"accordion__content content\" id=\"documentation-you-need\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n                    <ol>\n<li><strong>Unit outline \u2013 A description of units you have previously studied:\u00a0<\/strong>The unit outline should contain detailed information about the syllabus, learning outcomes, assessment, texts and learning experiences. Please note: unit outlines for completed Curtin units are not required.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Academic transcripts:\u00a0<\/strong>Please provide full academic transcripts that contain your unit results as well as the marking or grading key.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Official documents to confirm your completed study (if applicable):\u00a0<\/strong>If you are using your completed qualification to apply for advanced standing \u2013 such as a TAFE Diploma or Advanced Diploma \u2013 please also upload your Final Award Certificate confirming program completion.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Evidence of work\/life experience:\u00a0<\/strong>If you are applying for CRL based on your work\/life experience, you must complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/students\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/SuppWorkExpAppforCRL1.pdf\">Supplement for Credit Transfer based on relevant Prior Professional (work) or Life Experience<\/a> form and include the following support documents with your application:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Curriculum Vitae (CV)-<\/strong>\u00a0Please outline your relevant work history<\/li>\n<li><strong>Employment confirmation-<\/strong> Include a signed official letter or statement on company letterhead from your employer or organisation confirming the dates and type of your employment<\/li>\n<li><strong>Position description- <\/strong>Provide a relevant position description<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>                    <div class=\"accordion\">\n            <button class=\"accordion__heading accordion__toggle\" aria-controls=\"how-it-is-assessed\" aria-expanded=\"false\">How it is assessed<span class=\"ico ico-chevron-fat ico--deep-blue\"><svg xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\" viewBox=\"0 0 32 32\"><path d=\"M10.91 30.41l-2.82-2.82L19.67 16 8.09 4.41l2.82-2.82L25.33 16 10.91 30.41z\"\/><\/svg><\/span><\/button>\n        <div class=\"accordion__content content\" id=\"how-it-is-assessed\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n                    <p>Advanced standing is awarded for different types of learning, for example, studies you have previously completed. To be eligible for advanced standing for Curtin units, you must demonstrate you have achieved the learning outcomes of those units.<\/p>\n<p>Advanced standing can be assessed as part of your program application. Alternatively, you can submit an application after you have received your program offer.<\/p>\n\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>                    <div class=\"accordion\">\n            <button class=\"accordion__heading accordion__toggle\" aria-controls=\"things-to-consider\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Things to consider<span class=\"ico ico-chevron-fat ico--deep-blue\"><svg xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\" viewBox=\"0 0 32 32\"><path d=\"M10.91 30.41l-2.82-2.82L19.67 16 8.09 4.41l2.82-2.82L25.33 16 10.91 30.41z\"\/><\/svg><\/span><\/button>\n        <div class=\"accordion__content content\" id=\"things-to-consider\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n                    <ol>\n<li>Advanced standing can be considered for successfully completed units, courses and relevant work experience you have undertaken in the previous 10 years.
