{"id":1222,"date":"2023-04-27T02:05:16","date_gmt":"2023-04-27T02:05:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/curtin.edu.my\/study\/?page_id=1222"},"modified":"2026-01-20T00:47:25","modified_gmt":"2026-01-20T00:47:25","slug":"pro-vice-chancellor-international-scholarship","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/curtin.edu.my\/study\/scholarships\/internal-scholarships\/pro-vice-chancellor-international-scholarship\/","title":{"rendered":"Pro Vice-Chancellor Excellence Scholarship"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility criteria<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>International and Malaysian citizen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Full-time student enrolled at Curtin Malaysia<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For Malaysian, the course you enroll in must not be covered under the Free Tertiary Education Scheme (FTES)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Current Curtin Malaysia degree students (Second Year onwards) with the latest CWA 80%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Not presently holding other scholarships.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Amount of award and duration<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The scholarship covers 50% of the tuition fee for the entire duration of the programme (3 \u2013 4 years depending on the programme of study)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">*All other fees and expenses are to be borne by the recipients.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"notification notification--notice small\" data-segment=\"dom\">\n    <span class=\"ico ico-info\"><svg xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\" viewBox=\"0 0 32 32\"><path d=\"M16 2a14 14 0 1 0 14 14A14 14 0 0 0 16 2zm0 26a12 12 0 1 1 12-12 12 12 0 0 1-12 12z\"\/><path d=\"M15 15h2v6h-2z\"\/><circle cx=\"16\" cy=\"12\" r=\"1\"\/><\/svg><\/span><p>The CWA of 80% must be achieved at the time of application.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"notification notification--notice small\" data-segment=\"dom\">\n    <span class=\"ico ico-info\"><svg xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\" viewBox=\"0 0 32 32\"><path d=\"M16 2a14 14 0 1 0 14 14A14 14 0 0 0 16 2zm0 26a12 12 0 1 1 12-12 12 12 0 0 1-12 12z\"\/><path d=\"M15 15h2v6h-2z\"\/><circle cx=\"16\" cy=\"12\" r=\"1\"\/><\/svg><\/span><p>Please also note that students meeting the criteria are eligible to apply\u00a0for the scholarship. The scholarship is not guaranteed as all applications go through a selection process.
