The Health Centre is established to cater to the campus community (staff, students, visitors, contractors) who feel unwell or ill; or have had an accident; or have had an injury<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

Operating as an in-house outpatient clinic, the services provided by the Health Centre include<\/p>

  • attending to minor health complaints (fever, flu, aches, discomfort)<\/li>
  • attending to minor injuries (cuts, bruises, abrasions)<\/li>
  • physical examination and health consultation (clinical)<\/li>
  • health checks (glucose, BP, BMI)<\/li>
  • first aid service (stitching of wounds, removal of stitches, dressing)<\/li>
  • prescription of medication<\/li>
  • referrals to external clinics\/hospitals (in cases of emergencies, major injuries, complex cases)<\/li>
  • rental of first aid kits<\/li><\/div><\/div><\/div>

    The centre is also well equipped with clinic equipment such as<\/p>

  • asthma nebuliser<\/li>
  • suction unit<\/li>
  • glucose test kit (digital meter, lancing device, lancets, test strips)<\/li>
  • sphygmomanometers (analog and digital blood pressure monitors)<\/li>
  • thermoscan (ear thermometer)<\/li>
  • suturing kits<\/li>
  • examination couches<\/li>
  • stretchers (ambulance and fold-able)<\/li>
  • health scales (digital and mechanical)<\/li>
  • wheelchairs<\/li>
  • crutches <\/li><\/div><\/div><\/div> <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n
