Before attending the enrolment session, you are advised to take time to look through the unit options and electives available in your course structure (Moodle).<\/p>\n<p>The University is progressively moving towards student self-management with all students by re-enrolling online through Curtin Malaysia <strong>eStudent<\/strong><strong>. <\/strong>Your study plan will be arranged according to the course structure. Only units <strong>highlighted teal<\/strong> are available for enrolment. Use the drop down to select the appropriate study period.<\/li>\n<li>If all enrolment details are correct, click \u201c<strong>Confirm Enrolment<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>&#8216;view current enrolment&#8217;<\/strong> in the left-hand menu to confirm your enrolment has been successfully enrolled.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>&#8217;email my Enrolment Advice&#8217;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Your Enrolment Advice will be emailed to your student email account.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>How do I enrol for the optional or elective units<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Enrolling in Optional or Elective Units.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Optional units are indicated by an O icon and Elective units are indicated by E icon Elective Symbol .<\/li>\n<li>In order to enrol in an optional\/elective unit, you will need to add your chosen <strong>optional or elective<\/strong> unit to the Study Plan. To do this, scroll down to the <strong>optional or elective<\/strong> line in your study plan (you may have more than one) and <strong>click Choose<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>On the next screen, select the unit you would like to add to your Study Plan from the units listed, by clicking Select Unit.<\/li>\n<li>This unit will now be added to your Selected Units list. To add it to your Study Plan, click Save.<\/li>\n<li>The unit will now appear, ready for enrolment (you may need to scroll down to see it). If you wish to change the optional\/elective unit you&#8217;ve selected, click Change.<\/li>\n<li>If you have more than one optional\/elective unit to enrol in (in a semester), it is easiest to add all optional\/elective units to the study plan, and then enrol in them all together.<\/li>\n<li>Now that you have added your optional\/elective to your study plan, you must now enrol<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>You will be returned to your study plan, and the unit will now appear, ready for enrolment (you may need to scroll down to see it). The new MPU units will affect all new undergraduate students enrolled from 2014 onwards. Students undertaking foundation, Master\u2019s and Doctor of Philosophy are exempted from doing MPU units.<\/p>\n<p>The Private Higher Education Institution Act 1996 (Act 555) stipulates that every private higher education institution teaches the following compulsory subjects.
