Yayasan Sarawak initiative in collaboration with Curtin University Malaysia, this one-month course is designed to help Sarawakian students acquire and further enhance their language skills to prepare them for undergraduate studies.
Emphasis is given to active learning with opportunities to apply the language skills they acquire in contexts and situations similar to academic learning at undergraduate level.
This course is completely free, and lodging will be provided for students who are not from Miri. In addition, students are provided with a one-off RM300 allowance from Yayasan Sarawak.
